Our signature production · Written and directed by Shadrock Porter
The Journey is a theatrical tapestry of song, spoken word and dance that follows a people dispersed from the Promised Land to Ghana, Nigeria, West Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas. It is prophetic and historical, cultural and entertaining — humorous one moment and deeply serious the next.

The story
A people, a promise, a way home
Never before have the clues that connect the lives of all humanity been presented with such compelling evidence. Regardless of identity, race, social status or philosophical belief, The Journey reveals the one thread every audience shares: the quest for freedom, for peace, love, truth and prosperity.
Through electrifying dance, rich harmonies and soul-stirring spoken word, the cast carries the audience across centuries and continents. Every scene is crafted to educate, to inspire and to awaken something deep within.
